Welcome to WRTC.info
- This is not the official WRTC-2010 website -

We collect information about past WRTC events before it's disappears into the internet black hole, and you are hereby invited to join us. Please use the contact form on this website to contact us if you are interested in helping out.
Much information is already in the history books but we still need more information from the early WRTC's. 1990 needs special attention as we barely have any information at all. Photos are also very welcome for all events.

As a registered user you are able to write articles, submit photos, and you will have your very own wrtc blog. Please have a look at the about page to see what more you can do as a registered user.
If you want to share your own WRTC story, we will be more than happy to put it on here.

Selection criteria document updated

Rule 5.4, regarding number of operators who can submit scores for a multi operation, has been updated. Multi Single is unchanged, but Multi 2 adds 1 operator and Multi Multi adds 3 operators. The selection criteria document on wrtc.info is updated and you can download the file here: WRTC-2010_Selection_criteria-final-2.doc or read the document in this posting: WRTC 2010 Selection Criteria.

Original message from Harry below:
Dear friends,

We have to appology but this message somehow didn't get the reflector.

Dated October 3 we slightly changed reading of paragraph 5.4 of WRTC-2010 rules by adding 1 more team member who can apply M2 scores
(from 2 to 3) and 3 more team members who can apply MM scores (from 2 o 5).

Please read it as follows:

5. Conditions for team leader (TL)

4) MS/M2/MM - no more than 2 team members may submit results for a single contest for MS, 3 for M2, 5 for MM

WRTC 2010 WebSite

Just tried http://wrtc2010.ru/ by "chance" and it is currently forwarding to wrtc.info. We strongly believe that wrtc2010.ru will be the official website of WRTC2010.

WRTC2002.org website now available

For a while we thought the WRTC2002 website was lost forever, and we started to collect whatever we could find on the web from that event. This week we were contacted by Martti OH2BH, and he told us Jouko OH1RX has all the files from the old server in his possession. We instantly provided him with a ftp account and during the weekend all files were uploaded to the wrtc.info server. Thanks to Timo OH1NOA for using relative links, the old wrtc2002.org website can already be browsed at this URL: http://www.wrtc.info/wrtc2002.org/site/

WRTC 2010 Selection criteria

From the WRTC2006 reflector: Dear friends, some times ago we began to observe experience of previous WRTC'es to prepare selection criteria, including selection parameter factor, for WRTC-2010. This job will take some time. Anyway, today I'm sure that both 2006 CQWW Contests will have top rank among other annual contests in terms of selection procedure. So, take it, please, in your mind. Best regards, 73s Roman, RZ3AA

WRTC 2010 Is A Reality!

The World Radiosport Team Championship Sanctioning Committee (WRTC-SC) is pleased to announce that in 2010 WRTC will be held in Russia for the first time! The Soyuz Radiolyubitelei Rossii (SRR) is the primary sponsoring organization. SRR President, Roman Thomas RZ3AA, is the host committee chairman. The event will be held near Moscow and coincident with the IARU HF Championship in July. The committee plans to publish qualification rules and procedures as quickly as possible and a special WRTC-2010 Web site will soon be available. The WRTC-SC would like to thank all of the Russian team for the hard work preparing their proposal and for the planning that has already taken place.

Congratulations and good luck!

On behalf of the WRTC-SC, 73, Ward N0AX
